"She Got Now" will help women to break through barriers of vulnerability, self-doubt, racism, and sexism to be all that God wants them to be.
"She Got NOW," comes to a triumphant close with a sermon titled, "Burn it All," from Nona Jones! Nona is a nationally renowned speaker, pastor, and author of memoir, "Success from the Inside Out," published by Zondervan in January 2020. The memoir chronicles her journey as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse who has gone on to achieve immense career success despite being labeled a problem child at an early age. Nona has become a recognized voice of hope, healing, and inspiration, equipping women and girls around the world to rise from their past pain into a fulfilling future through faith.

CityPoint is honored to welcome back Rev. Dr. Brianna K. Parker for the next installment of our women-led sermon series, "She Got NOW!" Rev. Bri is a highly sought after preacher, public speaker, millennial engagement coach, and ministry consultant. She's CEO of Black Millennial Café, a consulting practice and data resource center for Black churches and organizations interested in healthy engagement with Black communities. She is also currently the lead researcher for Barna Group’s State of the Black Church study. Check out her message on the story of Anna.

This week, we're pleased to pass the mic to Rev. Shareka Newton for her sermon titled "There's a Miracle in the Pot." Based in Brooklyn, New York, Rev. Shareka Newton serves as the first female Executive Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church. In 2012, the New York Alumnae Association of Spelman College honored Rev. Newton as a “Rising Star” in acknowledgment of her impact on her community. In 2016, Congresswoman Yvette Clarke selected her as a “Shining Star” in the community. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
